Today's Gospel tells us of how important the word of God for creation, for the whole world, for our lives, for the last , today and tomorrow.
"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to eat, so the word goes out from my mouth does not return to me empty, without having done what I desire and without achieving the end for which I sent it. "
From here, the Gen Verde have drawn a beautiful melody often sung at Mass during the offertory.
even more forcefully the beautiful opening track of the Gospel of John speaks of the word yet , of the Word, the source of all:
"In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was Dio.Egli was in the beginning with God all things were made through Him, and without him nothing has been done all that esiste.In him was life and the life was the light of men, the light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God his name was John. He came as a witness to testify to the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness to the light. Word was the true light that enlightens every man.
He was in the world and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not. He came unto his own, but his own did not receive. But to have accept him he gave power to become children of God, to those who believed in his name, who were not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God have been generati.E the Word became flesh and dwelt among us ...(..)"
Still the Word, the Word.
How is that our parents have said before God and gave birth to our family and our lives. As that is we are called every day to say in front of the daily decisions that become meat works.
How those words measured and calibrated or sometimes spilling out from the heart that we say to the girl because her mother also tells her his word of welcome and create new life.
The Word can give birth and can kill, can be good or it can hurt.
Dosiamo well our every word. Especially those to his friends, his wife, children and even more so because those are written, and remain forever. Our every word .....
